Opening Ceremony of the 10th ESSM Congress

Located near the Tagus river the Lisboa Congress Center is located in a prestigious historical area of Lisbon. In the surrounding, congress participants can find the Jeronimos Monastery, the Belem Tower or the Ajuda Palace. The Lisbon Airport is 15 km away, 20 minutes driving.

OPENING CEREMONY



Sunday, 25 November 2007, 18.30 h - 20.00 h
The Opening Ceremony takes place in Auditorium I at the Lisboa Congress Center including several welcome speeches. Delegates will enjoy a unique blend of wonderful fado music. Singers of several generations will perform a beautiful celebration of the fado - Portugal’s most famous music style, sometimes called the Portuguese blues. At the end of the Opening Ceremony all congress delegates and accompanying persons are invited to join the ESSM Welcome Reception in the foyers of the Auditorium with typical Portuguese fingerfood and drinks.
